Several years ago, ECMECC's member districts brought up the need for collaboration and training to help secure our schools in the cyber and physical environments. These discussions were the beginning of what has now become our Annual Security Summit.​

The ECMECC Security Summit brings together school administration, technology staff, school resource officers, as well as many other representatives from districts from the East Central MN region and beyond. Each year a variety of topics are covered from physical security to cybersecurity that impact schools.
